Local Operations (PUD) - Brisbane

About This Opportunity

Blenners Transport is seeking an Local Operations (PUD) working 7am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday each week to join the team at the Brisbane (Darra) depot.

The role will be responsible for Brisbane local operations within the rules set under CoR, while ensuring smooth operational requirements.

Position Requirements

• Manage local PUD’s
• Liaising with drivers and sub contractors to ensure they are legally fit for duty and have legal driving hours for the load they are taking
• Ensuring at all times Blenners Transport adheres to BFM and compliance requirements
• Booking loads
• Answering incoming telephone calls in a prompt and timely manner
• Ensuring truck departures are loaded in a timely and safe manner to ensure departure, full load and customer requirements are met
• Ensuring all freight travels according to deliveries by temperature, road or rail
• Ensuring all drivers and sub contractors meet both legal and delivery requirements

The successful applicant must have sound and extensive knowledge and experience in transport local operations including load planning and BFM. Extensive knowledge and experience with a range of microsoft-based programs is also essential.
