Hired Labour is pleased to be partnering with Blenners Transport in the recruitment of this key role.

Hired Labour is seeking an experienced and trade qualified Heavy Commercial Vehicle Auto Electrician to join the Blenners Transport team. Based in Tully NQ, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of an extensive fleet of modern Prime Movers and Refrigerated Trailers.

Position Requirements

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience working in Road Transport highly regarded
• The ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams/schematics
• Manual Driver’s Licence (HR/HC/MC highly regarded)
• Forklift Licence (LF) highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset
• Physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Full Australian working rights

Key Responsibilities

• CAN bus system fault diagnostics and repair
• Kenworth Engine Management System fault diagnosis and repair
• Electrical component testing and replacement
• Repairs and Maintenance to Automotive Air Conditioning Systems
• Truck and Trailer ABS/EBS servicing and repairs
• Installs / repairs Telematics and driver alert systems
• Air-conditioning License
