Apprentice Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanics – 2027 Intake - Tully

About This Opportunity

Blenners Transport are currently seeking expressions of interest for our 2027 Apprenticeship Intake for our Tully Depot – specifically for Apprentice Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanics.

This is a full-time position, with both on and off the job (TAFE) training, resulting in a Certificate III qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, with excellent ongoing career prospects.

To be considered for these positions, you will have completed a minimum of Year 10 of schooling, be keen, a team player, motivated, have a can-do attitude with a genuine interest in the Automotive industry and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Positions will commence in early 2027.

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset

Key Responsibilities

• Assist qualified mechanics with servicing and repairs of heavy commercial vehicles
• Learn fault-finding and diagnostic procedures
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
• Achieve all requirements of the TAFE Training Plan
• Document all working evidence in your TAFE sign-off book
