MC Driver (Shuttle) - Townsville

Hired Labour is pleased to be partnering with Blenners Transport in the recruitment of this key role.

Blenners Transport is seeking an experienced MC (Multi-Combination) Shuttle Driver to join our Townsville depot. This is a casual role, offering the flexibility of 3-4 night shifts a week for local shuttle runs.

Position Requirements

• A current MC (Multi-Combination) driver’s licence – must be able to drive road ranger gear box
• Significant experience (3+ years) operating large commercial vehicles in the road transport industry
• BFM Accreditation
• Heavy commercial vehicle medical (or willing to obtain one)
• Clean 5-year traffic history report
• A strong safety-first mindset and commitment to safe driving practices
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating large commercial vehicles such as road trains, B-doubles and other multi-combination configurations
• Nightly shuttle runs
• Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and safety protocols
• Maintaining detailed logbooks and vehicle inspection records
• Liaising with dispatch and operations teams to ensure efficient and timely deliveries
